The Costa de Almeria is located in the South East of Spain, tucked away between the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Sol. Generally, the area has yet to be discovered by the tourist industry and is consequently still rural and typically Andalucian.

Almeria is an area steeped in Andalucian tradition, with the historic villages of Mojacar, Turre, Los Gallardos and Garrucha all within easy reach of the apartments.

The Fuentemar apartments are situated along the peaceful Vera beach front, just 300m to the uncrowded beach. The pool is large, clean and well maintained with a safe smaller children's pool, surrounded by green lawns and gardens. The fishing village Garrucha that boasts many fresh fish restaurants and bars along the busy Marina is only a short walk away. Garrucha has a large open-air market and a wide range of water sports, tapas bars, shops, supermarkets and banks. A new promenade leads from the apartments into Garrucha, and through to Mojacar beach.

The apartments are new and well-decorated with two ample size bedrooms, one of which is a double and the other twin beds both bedrooms have overhead fans. The apartments are furnished with a fully fitted kitchen, oven, coffee machine, washing machine and television, bathroom with bath and shower.

The apartments are designed around stylish walkways and gardens and there are also terrace area outside with garden table and chairs comfortable for evening meals or for purely relaxation purposes.

Amenities on the complex consist of restaurants and bars along the beachfront and if you are feeling a little more adventurous then 5 mins drive the busier Mojacar Beach resort hosts lots of livelier bars that hold karaoke evening, disco and live entertainments!.

For keen golfers there are two new golf courses nearby, one which is a green golf course the other a desert golf course, unique to the area.

The award winning beach is very immaculate and is located 300m from the apartments. The beach is a lovely flat sandy beach and is situated next to a designated nature reserve which is never overcrowded. If you get fed up of passing your days lazing on the beach there is a new Aqua park, with water shoots, slides and swimming pools nearby where the kids can have safe fun!.

Although car hire is not necessary, should you wish to explore the beauty of the mountain villages in the area a car is advisable, there are various hire companies in the area and a good bus transport service.
