Beautiful mountain villas are found nestling in the foothills of the Cortijo Grande valley and golf course. With spectacular views across the Sierra Cabrera mountains.

The valley is surrounded by wild orange and olive groves. Although Cortijo Grande is in a relaxing location it is only 5 minutes drive to the local village of Turre which is a traditional Spanish working village. Many restaurants are to be found there serving home made Andalusian cuisine and Tapas.

The local villagers are very relaxed and enjoy sharing their culture with any visitors, (an ideal place to practice any Spanish skills). The local beach of Mojacar is 10 minutes by car. Mojacar has many European restaurants, beach 'Chiringuitos' (traditional bars\restaurants on the beach), also many beach activities and night entertainment.

Mojacar's main beach you will find many virgin wild beaches, with pretty bays and coves.

Individual villas can sleep between 5-7 persons. Most will have satellite TV, washing machine etc. Price varies between accommodations on whether they are two bedroom or three etc.

Mojacar has not been over commercialized and only has three Disco's in the area, so loud noise is at a minimum. Driving on past

Local Amenities

Cabrera village - this beautiful village has retained the traditional Moorish design. The village includes a small shop, which doubles as a bar! A pub and restaurant called Los Pastores; tennis courts, bowling greens and Cabrera Castle are all within easy reach. Horse riding stables where also weekly barbecues are held. The golf course is also within a short drive.

Turre village - Turre is the nearest local village, this is a traditional Spanish village, where some of the best restaurants can be found for serving traditional Andalusian cooking at very economical prices. Also Tapas are still served free in most places with your wine and beer.

Beaches - are located approximately 15 minutes drive from the apartments. There you will find all forms of entertainment such as water sports, bars, restaurants, shopping centre, night clubs, Flamenco dancing and much more. Also, if you drive a little further along the beach front you will come to wild deserted beaches where you can pass your time relaxing on your own private beach!

Cleaning/Laundry for the villas

Clean sheets and towels are available upon arrival. However should you require additional laundry and cleans you must contact the Villa Managers themselves, please find details on the Useful Links page.
