CD player with radio and tape facilities and television with all cable channels including and DVD player. The views from this property of the surrounding Sierra Cabrera Mountain range are truly spectacular.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and utensils etc. A travel cot and high chair are also available.

The communal swimming pool boasts a large sunbathing deck with sun beds and shades

Local amenities consist of :- Cabrera Castle – An old Moorish castle which forms the heart of the village, within the grounds there are tennis courts and horse riding facilities. Two fantastic restaurants, firstly “ Fatimas” a great tapas bar, serving traditional Andalucian and Moorish cuisine. Lovely easy atmosphere whilst appreciating the views.

Also Los Pastores a quaint restaurant within the original walls of the castle, outstanding food, wines and beers, from all over Spain, both within walking distance to the villa. The area is good for mountain walks, exploring caves, and observing wild life of the surrounding nature reserve.

There are three golf courses in the area, the first on the mountain, which is a nine hole golf course in Cortijo Grande. Two new courses in the area : Desert Springs Golf Club 6179 metres, Par 72, this is the first desert golf course in Europe, and is built to the standard of the famous desert course in Arizona. Also Marina de la Torre 5700 metres, Par 72, positioned opposite the beach in Mojacar this course attracts golfers looking for that new challenge. Split into two distinct nine holes on either side of the hill, overlooking the clear sandy beach and blue sea.

The nearest beach is Mojacar @ (15 mins drive) which is lively with lots of restaurants and bars, bands, music and several nightclubs. During the day the beaches are never overcrowded like many of the Costa’s and there is always ample space to sunbathe even in the peak summer season. Andalucian beach "Chiringuitos are sprinkled along the beach front , these beach bars serve good food and drink throughout the day and usually have live bands at night.

At the foot of the mountain is the village of Turre a working Spanish village with lots of restaurants, bars, small traditional shops, large supermarket, banks and a weekly market

Garrucha is 20 mins drive away, a lovely traditional Spanish fishing village with good beaches and fresh fish restaurants along the Marina. Weekly open air markets selling Andalucian goods.

The main beaches in the region remain designated nature reserves, “apart from the Mojacar strip”, these beaches are wild, untouched virgin beaches, and bays with crystal clear waters.

A car is a necessity in the village of Cabrera, we can organise this for you, and ensure you are met at Almeria airport by a representative who will offer advice on your journey to Cabrera. Prices commence at £100 per week. However there are several other companies based at Almeria and Alicante including Eurpopacar, Avis, Hertz, etc.
